Constitution and Rules

1. Membership is open to junior girl members of the four County Associations in the East Division of Scotland who hold a CONGU handicap of 35 or less, and are under 18 years old on 1st January of the current year. Extended membership for 18-21 year olds is offered to past members.

2. The Committee consists of the four County junior secretaries plus a Chairman, Secretary/Treasurer and Child Protection Officer.

3. The Committee is accountable to the East Division of Scottish County Golf.

4. The Financial Year ends on 31st December.

5. The Secretary/Treasurer will produce an annual report on Membership and Activities and a financial report at the end of the current year.

6. The East of Scotland Girls’ Golfing Association does not exist to make a profit. All surplus income is reinvested in the Association.

7. In the event of its dissolution or amalgamation any surplus funds held by the East of Scotland Girls’ Association will be paid over to the East Division of Scottish County Golf or to the SLGA Ltd or its successors.

Competitions
As well as there being scratch and handicap prizes at each of the three East of Scotland GGA competitions, there is a prize for the aggregate of the best two nett scores from the three meetings.
In addition there is an Order of Merit

* The Summer Meeting is the Daily Telegraph Qualifier.
* Teams for the Inter-district matches will be announced at the Cuthbertson Cup.
* Please enter competitions promptly using the web entry form if possible.
* You will be notified of your starting time, by email or post, at least four days before the event.
* If you are unable to play in a competition you have entered, please let Mrs Easton know as soon as possible.
* The results from all East of Scotland GGA competitions will be forwarded to the SLGA office.

Reminders
* Keep your home club handicap secretary advised of scores from all competitions.
* Keep your county junior secretary advised of your change of handicap at all times.
* Always bring your CONGU handicap certificate to all competitions.
