East Girls win Mhairi McKay Trophy at Bothwell Castle

Congratulations to the East Girls who beat the West Girls by 7 1/2 matches to 1/2 at Bothwell Castle Golf Club, Lanarkshire, to win the Mhairi McKay Trophy for the first time since 2007. The girls played great golf in extremely windy and testing conditions. All the matches were played in a friendly and sporting manner with both the West Girls and the East girls enjoying their annual get together.
Our thanks to Fiona Scott, Chairman of the West of Scotland Girls, and her committee for such a warm welcome and their generous hospitality.
