Good luck to Rachel, Rachael & Gabrielle

We would like to wish Rachel Hanlon ( St Regulus ), Rachael Watton (Mortonhall ) and Gabrielle Macdonald ( Craigielaw ) as well as Susan Jackson ( Ladybank ) all the very best of luck when they tee up at Troon tomorrow in the 2010 Helen Holm Scottish Open Strokeplay Championship.

Midlothian Girls win Cuthbertson Cup

Congratulations to the Midlothian team of Rachael Watton, Gabrielle Macdonald,Gillian Simpson and Kate McIntosh with reserve Hannah Scott who won the East District Girls' Inter-County Matches and the Cuthbertson Cup on Sunday the 18th April at Ratho Park.

Cuthbertson Cup

Good luck to all the girls who will be representing their County in the East District Junior Inter-County Matches at Ratho Park Golf Club, Midlothian on Sunday 18th April. The girls shall be competing for the Cuthbertson Cup which has been in the hands of Midlothian for the last four years.

The draw for the morning play which tees off at 9.30am is as follows :-

Midlothian v Stirling and Clackmannan

East Lothian v Fife.

The winners of the morning play, play each other in the afternoon for the title, teeing off from 2pm and the two losing morning teams play foursomes to determine 3rd and 4th place.

Supporters would be very welcome.

ESGGA shall be announcing teams for the following matches at the end of play :-

East Girls' v West Girls' , Sunday 30th May Baberton G.C Edinburgh

SLGA Junior Girls' Inter-divisional Matches , Saturday & Sunday 5th / 6th June Ballumbie G.C Dundee.

Chloe Goadby wins Spring Meeting with a Net 62 !

New member Chloe Goadby from St Regulus ,Fife took the overall prize at the Spring Meeting today with a fabulous Net 62 playing off a handicap of 19. The glorious sunshine and almost perfect playing conditions produced some great scores. Rachael Watton from Mortonhall , Midlothian won the sractch prize with an excellent 3 under par score of 69

Scottish Junior Champion of Champions 2009

Congratulations to East Girls , Rachael Watton (Mortonhall) and Rachel Hanlon (St Regulus) who finished in second and third place repectively in competing for the title of Scottish Junior Girls Champion of Champions 2009. The tournament which was played at the Dukes Course , St Andrews had been resheduled from last November.
