2008 is going to be an exciting year for ladies and girls golf in Scotland.

The Curtis Cup comes to the Old Course, St Andrews from the 30th May to the 1stJune
This will be the first time that the women amateurs of GB & I and the USA will contest the Curtis Cup at the Home of Golf. With four young Scottish players in the GB&I team, two of whom are past members of the East Girls' it will be an exciting event to go along to support. This is an all ticket event . To purchase tickets go to the LGU website

In July ( 8-12) Scotland shall be hosting the European Girls' Team Championship at Murcar Links. This will be another fantastic opportunity to support the Scottish players and watch some very good golf played from the best girl golfers in Europe.

In August (5-7) the Girls Home International matches will be played at Panmure Barry where the Scottish team shall be looking for a third victory in a row.

The following week, from the 11th to the 15th the Girls' British Open Amateur Championship will be held at Monifeith

Girls, if you can manage to go along to any of those events with family or friends, the Scottish players would love your support.
If you would like any more info on the above please do get in touch with either Maggie or myself.
