Summer Meeting and Championship
This year’s Summer Meeting and Championship will be played at Bathgate Golf Club on Monday 10th July and Tuesday 11th July. Thank you to all the girls who have already entered. There is still time to enter if you have not already done so. Please email Maggie McPherson or Mandy Easton if you would like to enter the Summer Meeting. The draw will be posted, on our Website, four days before the Competition.

West Girls retain Mhairi McKay Trophy
A strong West Girls' team beat the East Girls to win the Mhairi McKay Trophy at Cochrane Castle Golf Club, Renfrewshire on Sunday. Congratulations to the West Girls and thank you to all the girls in both teams who played great golf in this competitive match.

Cassie Davidson-McQueen wins Overall Prize at Spring Meeting
New member, Cassie Davidson-McQueen, Gullane Ladies, won the Overall Prize with an nett 61 in the East of Scotland Girls' Spring Meeting played at Gullane No. 3, East Lothian. Grace Crawford, also Gullane Ladies, won the Scratch Prize with a gross score of 77.
The first competition of the 2017 season brought sunshine and pleasant playing conditions. 21 girls played and enjoyed the course which was in great condition. There were excellent scores and all the prizes were closely contested. Well done, girls - a great start to the season!

Just to let know that membership for 2017 is now due. Please submit the Membership form along with your subscription of £10 to East of Scotland Girls' Secretary, Mandy Easton. We look forward to seeing you all at our competitions this year. Last year we were delighted with the numbers who played and it was great to see handicaps being cut throughout the year. Well done, everyone!

Eilidh and Emma share East of Scotland Girls' Order of Merit Title
Eilidh Crawford, Kingsfield, and Emma Morrison, Craigmillar Park, are joint winners of this year's East of Scotland Girls' Order of Merit. Both girls gained 60 points. Eilidh and Emma played in all the counting competitions playing steadily throughout the season. Eilidh was ahead after our Autumn Meeting but Emma equalled Eilidh's points' score by winning the Midlothian County Junior Championship. Grace Crawford, Gullane Ladies, is in third place with 32 points and Morgan Graham, Falkirk, is in fourth place with 27th points.
