East of Scotland Girls’ Summer Meeting

The East of Scotland Girls Summer Meeting and Championship will be held at Dalmahoy Golf and Country Club, West Course on Thursday 24th and 25th July.

The best 8 gross scores from the Summer Meeting qualify for the match play Championship.

This will played as follows:

Quarter Finals: Thursday 24th July afternoon 

Semi Finals: Friday 25th July morning 

Final: Friday 25th July afternoon.

The Summer Meeting is also a qualifier for the Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship.

The annual match between the West of Scotland Girls and the East of Scotland Girls, played at Cardross Golf Club, ended in a halved match. As last year’s winners. East Girls retain the Trophy.

All the games were keenly contested in a sporting and friendly manner. Thank you to all the girls who played in the match, it is great to see so many talented girls in our teams.

Thank you to West of Scotland Girls’ Officials, Jenny Todd and Anne Laing for organising this year’s match and for their kind hospitality after the match. Thank you also to Cardross Golf Club for hosting the match and to the Vice Captain who welcomed us before the match. The girls all enjoyed the course which was in excellent condition.

Carly McDonald selected for Junior Vagliano Team

Congratulations to Carly McDonald who has been selected for the GB&I team to play against the Continent of Europe for the Junior Vagliano Trophy.This will be played from June 27-28 at Royal Hague Golf & Country Club, The Netherlands.
